My name is Ava, but my foster family has already started calling me "little wiggle butt" because of how excited I get when I see them. My foster mom also calls me "froggy" because I like to lay with my legs stretched out behind me like a frog!
Ava is an incredibly sweet, playful, and inquisitive pup who wants nothing more than to be by your side! She loves cuddles and belly rubs, and if you're sitting on the floor nearby, she will "army crawl/scoot" closer to you just so she can plop her cute little head on your lap and look up at you lovingly. She is a big fan of her new toys but will drop them for you immediately when asked.
Ava sleeps well in her crate and seems to be fully potty trained, as she has been great about letting us know when she needs to go out. She walks well on a leash with her harness and listens very well. She's learning "sit," "come," and "go to your crate" so far and is definitely treat-motivated (but will also settle for more praise and cuddles from you, since she is very eager to please!) Ava seems to be good with other dogs and is slowly being introduced to her foster sister (an older doggy who has been an only dog for the last 6 months), but she has been very sweet and brings her new foster sister toys from the other side of the doggy gate as her way of saying hello!
She has not been tested with small children, but absolutely loves her 13-year-old human foster sister, so she would likely do well with other children (especially if they don't mind a 60 lb ball of love laying on them!)
