Lana is a very active girl. She keeps herself very busy, because if she is awake she is on duty. Lana lines up her toys and squeaks all the squeakers as hard as she can. Chases all the balls which she will toss for herself. Chews up all the bones until they are just nubs. That's all in a day's work. When that's over with, she loves to curl up on the couch with her humans.
Lana is a strong, girl who's young, and sometimes doesn't have the best impulse control. She jumps hard, which could be a potential danger for young children, who will be knocked over. It's not that Lana isn't good with kids, she LOVES kids, but like any young dog she needs supervision and training. Lana also loves other dogs. Again her rough play can be a challenge. She is currently fostered with dogs of various sizes, and the only issue is that her pouncing her can be hard for smaller dogs.
Lana is a Doberman, and has Doberman tendencies. She is protective of her home and will let strangers know they shouldn't be at her door. She is extremely loyal and bonds quickly and easily to men, women and children. Lana does well with her crate, and walks on a leash, though she's still learning not to pull.
